How to Generate $3M in Pipeline from 1 GTM Campaign
Instantly Show/Michael Slawson/
Michael on Instantly Show. The $3M campaign sat at a waste-management brokerage. Pipeline was not a SaaS ACV. It was the current trash bill minus the new bill, times the savings share, times 12. Apero did not run the conversations. They were upstream: lead source, enrichment, prequalification, contacts, fewer clicks in HubSpot, outbound tooling. 'Book a call' still works in those businesses because the inboxes are not full of GTM slop. The live walkthrough is a short-term rental list. Airbnb lat/long is too sloppy to pick a house. They pull candidate addresses from county records, a state registry, license files, a web agent, and the listing copy, and an address only counts when two sources agree. They hand-checked the edge, and 94% of the original list resolved. Then skip-trace the owner and let the sales team dial. Unbooked calendars are pain, not intent. He does not buy a black-box AI SDR. He will build one, one company at a time, after a few weeks of context.
Notes
- 01
Pipeline on that engagement was monthly savings times 12, not a SaaS contract value. Apero sat upstream of the live conversations.
- 02
Tactics that are stale in SaaS still book meetings in businesses whose inboxes have not been buried in outbound.
- 03
The Airbnb walkthrough never lets geometry pick the house number. Two independent sources have to agree. After a manual pass, 94% of the list resolved.
- 04
Skip-trace the owner, then the sales team dials. An empty calendar is a pain score, not an intent signal.
- 05
He does not think a boxed AI SDR is more than a sugar rush. A custom one, built for one company after weeks of context, is a different product.

PE work shows up in the 6 to 12 months after the check. Cold outbound to funds is noisy. He does very little of it. The work comes through network and referrals, and he will say a warm intro is on the order of 100 to 200 times more effective than a cold note.
