How To Build A GTM Campaign in 60 Minutes
CyberMarketingCon/Benyamin Holley/
A live, unrehearsed session at CyberMarketingCon. Ben asks the room for a company URL he has never seen. Someone gives him intelligence.com. Clay starts running in the background while he talks, and he tells them it works about 90% of the time and sometimes trips. The table researches the site, drafts an ICP, finds lookalike accounts (Base10, PostHog), pulls contacts, and writes a fit note an SDR can actually read. He used the same motion at Cyft before he joined: about 65,000 MSPs worldwide, most of them too small for the product, enough to test whether a pre-seed could support a raise. Those principles, he says, helped raise $5 million and recruit a CTO and a VP of product.
Notes
- 01
The demo starts from one URL he has never opened. Clay researches the site, drafts who they sell to, finds lookalikes, and writes why the account is worth a call.
- 02
He tells the room Clay works about 90% of the time on a live run. When it trips, he explains the table instead of pretending the demo is clean.
- 03
Before joining Cyft he gathered about 65,000 MSPs to see if the market could support the company. Most shops are small. The product is not for all of them.
- 04
Head of growth at a 10-person startup, in his words, means absurdly overpaid SDR.
- 05
Vertical filters do not tell you if a CRM record is a buyer. He sends an agent to the website and treats the rest of the CRM as a graveyard until someone reads it.
- 06
He scores Salesforce accounts 1 to 4 inside Clay, with the whole CRM pulled into the table, then writes the note an AE would actually read.
- 07
He does not want a vendor's default settings. ZoomInfo's API, as he remembers the quote, starts around $15,000 a year, which was too much at that stage.
- 08
Clay and n8n have no persistent context window. He keeps the business in Cursor and Claude Code so he is not refeeding it at every step.
