GTM engineering workflows and what they produce
These are specific operating workflows, not software categories. Each starts with a real trigger, writes to the system that owns the record, and gives an operator a clear next action.
How does Apero map a market before a rep works it?
- Trigger
- A founder has a broad TAM, a conference list, or a team LinkedIn graph and needs to know who is actually worth contacting.
- System
- Clay and enrichment providers construct the account universe. Cursor-built Network Miner deduplicates the graph, scores narrow ICPs, checks CRM overlap, enriches keepers, and hands an approved first-degree contact to Lemlist or CRM.
- Output
- A ranked keep/skip queue with ICP reason, known relationship overlap, enrichment status, and an outreach path.
- Operator outcome
- Reps and founders spend scarce calling, email, and LinkedIn capacity on accounts with a reason to be there instead of a database export.
How does Apero handle cold outbound replies with AI?
Each campaign has a reply playbook (offer, real links, yes/no/question/meeting rules, never-list). Lemlist or EmailBison replies are classified, a draft is generated from that playbook, and a human approves in Slack before anything sends. Kill switches default off. The agent does not invent Calendly links or auto-send.
- Trigger
- Someone submits the website form, replies to an EmailBison campaign, or responds in Lemlist.
- System
- RevOps automation enriches the person, creates or reuses the CRM account and contact, applies explicit skip rules, routes the right people to the correct follow-up, and posts the completed record to Slack. The reply agent loads the campaign playbook, classifies the reply, drafts from real links, and stops for human approval.
- Output
- A CRM record, a routed follow-up, and a Slack card with the campaign context and a draft only when it is safe to draft.
- Operator outcome
- A hand-raiser does not disappear between the form, sender, CRM, and Slack. Simple replies get handled faster without inventing an offer, link, or answer.
How does Apero keep CRM records current without manual data entry?
Calls go through Fireflies into a business-trained agent that writes Monday meeting records. Email and Slack threads are read into the same account, contact, and deal fields. Slack is the interface for questions and approved writes. Reps are not asked to split conversations into dozens of fields.
- Trigger
- A discovery, customer, or sales call ends and a transcript is available from Fireflies.
- System
- A business-trained agent reads the transcript and attendee context, writes a meeting record into Monday CRM, and extracts the fields that matter to the account, contact, and deal. A separate stage-sync workflow only advances a deal on high-confidence forward evidence. Terminal stages stay terminal.
- Output
- Structured meeting context, tasks, and a proposed or approved deal update attached to the record that owns it.
- Operator outcome
- Reps do not spend the afternoon turning a conversation into fields. Leadership gets a CRM that reflects the sales process rather than the last time someone remembered to update it.
How does Apero run cold email infrastructure?
- Trigger
- A campaign sends, a prospect replies, a mailbox disconnects, or a bounce lands.
- System
- Apero Bison monitors EmailBison accounts and campaigns, classifies replies and bounces, suppresses current-customer domains, checks domain health and placement through EmailGuard, and posts disconnections or exceptions to Slack. Interested-reply routing remains in RevOps so the sender does not become a second CRM.
- Output
- Suppression and classification history, account and campaign health, placement checks, and an actionable exception queue.
- Operator outcome
- The outbound program can keep sending without re-pitching customers, losing a disconnected inbox, or treating a bounce as an unrelated support ticket.
How can operators query and update the CRM from Slack?
- Trigger
- Someone needs pipeline state, lead context, a LinkedIn lookup, an approved update, or campaign performance while working in Slack.
- System
- MUTHUR reads Monday as the source of truth and answers in Slack. It posts lead and deal changes, handles approved writes with audit records and idempotency keys, and keeps destructive or campaign-changing actions behind approval.
- Output
- A Slack answer or card tied back to the CRM record, with a human approval gate wherever a write can create risk.
- Operator outcome
- The CRM becomes available in the flow of work without creating an ungoverned bot that can rewrite pipeline whenever it feels like it.
How does Apero schedule the follow-ups an operator would otherwise forget?
- Trigger
- Every morning, after calls, or on a weekly review cadence.
- System
- Grok Bot reads connected CRM, Fireflies, Slack, Clay, EmailBison, Gmail, and repo context. It produces follow-up briefs, drafts post-call responses, checks operator commitments, mines referral paths, and audits list or campaign rules defined in the systems it calls.
- Output
- A prioritized daily brief, draft follow-ups, or an exception list with the underlying record and why it needs attention.
- Operator outcome
- The team sees stale deals, missed promises, and next actions before those gaps turn into a quarter-end cleanup project.
